Cheers.

Just to illustrate how freakin' sweet my Grandma was, one of her requests for her funeral was to pop open a 40 at the gravesite and have one last beer for her, then leave the bottle as the vase for flowers instead of a regular vase. Unfortunately, they couldn't find Old Milwaukee in a 40oz, so we had to settle for Budwiser. :)

Cheers, Grandma.

(always a rebel, she was. Even in her after life. :)

Hi Mandi!

Awesome, awesome, awesome post. I LOVE your grandmother! What style.

I missed you while I was in Dallas, but I did try to keep up with your blog on my BlackBerry. Glad to be home though. When I left it was winter, and when I got home, it's summer. Love it.

I love it* Sounds like your grandma had a very similar spirit to my Grandma Gillooly. She gave us the same immense love of family, fun, and life. When we buried her, I think almost all 22 cousins were together. Right before they closed her casket, the cousins got together and we slipped a beer & a cigarette in with her. My uncle says he swears he saw her hand twitch, lol.
